About the Position Financial Planner Staff - Brisbane The purpose of the Staff Financial Planner is to provide advice solutions including superannuation, investment, and personal insurance needs of Suncorp Staff. Work with Suncorp Store staff, lenders and leaders to service and retain customers with financial advice needs. Key Responsibilities Educate and coach Store staff and lenders to help generate referrals Demonstrate and model compliance, product knowledge and sales and service processes. Provide exceptional customer service using the Connect Customer framework Provide advice to the most appropriate needs of customers whilst complying with ASIC and Suncorp Financial Services (SFS) guidelines. Adhere to compliance requirements, corporate policies and processes relating to effective, administration and banking products and processes. Achieve and maintain proper authority granted by SFS. Develop and agree with Leader on a Personal Development Plan and implement throughout the financial year. Develop and maintain relationships with Practice Manager National Manager, Suncorp Advice Suncorp Store lenders and banking consultants, Build and maintain relationships with existing customer base, front line staff, other specialists and business units to maximise customer retention, superannuation, investment, risk and banking opportunities. Skills & Experience Qualifications ADFS 1 8 Tertiary qualification in a related discipline Experience Minimum 2 years current financial planning experience Preference will be given to those with financial advice experience Proven background in a customer service or contact centre role Key Capabilities Communication skills Written and Oral high level of ability to convey and explain information, succinctly coherently and confidently. Presentation Skills ability to present training material to branches and deliver information to clients in an open forum. Proven self-management establishing a process to complete goals (either personal or for others) and allocating appropriate resources to achieve such goals.
